Experience Namibia in a completely different way: during this guided tour guests will visit relatively undiscovered places of Namibia, namely the north and north-west of our beautiful country. This tour will take you from Ondangwa via Outapi to Opuwo, where you will get an insight into the life of the Himba tribe. Afterwards we drive via Oshakati, Ondangwa and the western Etosha National Park back to Windhoek. During this tour the culture of local communities stand in the foreground, but guests will also learn more about the history of Namibia as well as experience mostly undiscovered landscapes.
Namibia
Located in southwestern Africa, Namibia boasts a well-developed infrastructure, some of the best tourist facilities in Africa, and an impressive list of breathtaking natural wonders. Visitors can explore the capital of Windhoek and discover the lovely coastal town of Swakopmund boasting remnants of the country’s German influence, reflected in the architecture, culture, cuisine and the annual Oktoberfest celebrations. To properly appreciate this extraordinary country, you will have to venture out of the cities to explore the remarkable natural landscapes Namibia has to offer. These include: the impressive Fish River Canyon; the vast Etosha National Park teeming with abundant wildlife, such as lions, desert-adapted elephants and the Hartmann's Mountain Zebra; the hauntingly beautiful Kalahari Desert; and of course the Namib Desert stretching for over 2000 km along the magnificent Atlantic Coast. Namibia is an ideal destination for travellers seeking an unforgettable African experience in a uniquely beautiful untamed wilderness.

- Services and accommodations are subject to availability at the time of booking
- Luggage allowance is strictly 20kg per person including hand luggage and camera equipment and it must be packed in a soft bag. If these limits above are exceeded, the excess luggage can be held (or forwarded to the point of exit) for your flight out at the end of the safari. Kindly note that the additional cost incurred will be for your account
- Please advise us before you travel if you are likely to have excess luggage, and we will make the necessary arrangements
- All Air Taxis only depart / fly in good weather conditions. It is to the suppliers discretion, what constitutes as good or bad weather conditions
- Should flights be cancelled due to bad weather conditions or any other reasons, Namibia Tracks & Trails cannot be held liable for any additional costs that may arise, for any programme changes that might occur or for any other missed flights, be it domestic or international
- It is compulsory for all guests to have comprehensive cancellation-, default-, baggage-, emergency evacuation- and medical insurance for the duration of the trip
- The operator reserves the right to change the itinerary
- All relevant booking conditions of Namibia Tracks & Trails and/or any other booked services will apply to your travel arrangements
- The relevant cancellation policy applies should you fail to join or start your safari/journey for any reason, including airline delays or missed connection. Please ensure you have adequate travel insurance for this purpose. You become liable for cancellation penalties immediately on confirmation of booking services
- Passports must be valid (usually for at least 6 months after date of travel) and still have at least 3 blank visa (not endorsement) pages
- All visa requirements must be fulfilled and these are your responsibility
